Rob King received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Centenary College and obtained his CPA certificate in 1981. As a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs, he was chairman of the Louisiana Accounting and Auditing Committee. Rob also supervised Louisiana's Accounting and Auditing Conference, which presented the latest accounting and auditing issues to Louisiana CPAs. Rob was chairperson of the Shreveport Private Industry Council and president of the Board of Trustees for Loyola College Prep. He served as treasurer for the Biomedical Research Foundation of Northwest Louisiana, for the Shreveport Sesquicentennial Commission, and for the Samaritan Counseling Center. Rob recently served as President of Rutherford House, Chairman and Treasurer of Goodwill Industries, and board member of the Shreveport Workforce Investment Group. Currently, Rob is serving as the treasurer of the Barksdale Air Show and Shreveport-Bossier Military Affairs Committee.
